- You need a Saudi CR covering trading or e-commerce, a Saudi VAT certificate, an ID and a company bank account. Freelance certificates aren't accepted.
- Registering is free and there's no monthly fee. noon aims to approve your account within 24–48 working hours.
- Most products pay a 14–15% commission, plus about SAR 8–10 per order if noon stores and ships your stock (FBN).
- Noon pays weekly, every Thursday, once your balance reaches SAR 1,000.
- No Saudi company? UAE firms can sell into Saudi through Global Store, and Chinese firms through noon Global Shipping.
Noon is one of the fastest ways to get your products in front of Saudi shoppers. It's the Gulf's home-grown marketplace, it's busy, and its categories are far less crowded than Amazon's.
Getting started is simple. You need a registered Saudi business with VAT, or a UAE or Chinese company that sells in through one of noon's cross-border routes.
Registration is free, and most sellers are approved within days and see first orders within a few weeks.
This guide walks you through each step: the documents, registration, listing, fulfilment, fees, payouts and how to win your first sales. Notes for UAE, Chinese and other foreign sellers come at the end.
Why sell on noon in Saudi Arabia?
Noon is a Saudi-backed marketplace, founded in 2017 with investment from the Public Investment Fund. Saudi shoppers know it, trust it and shop on it in Arabic.
Here's what makes it attractive for a new seller:
- A big, young audience. Millions of Saudis visit noon every month. Most are under 35, and almost everyone shops on their phone.
- Less competition. Sellers and agencies consistently report fewer sellers per category than on Amazon, so a good new listing can reach page one within weeks.
- New listings get a fair chance. Noon hides sales counts and doesn't gate traffic on reviews, so you don't need hundreds of reviews to be found.
- Cheap ads. Sellers report clicks on long-tail Arabic keywords at SAR 0.3–0.5.
- Fast cash. Noon pays weekly, which keeps your stock moving.
- Big seasonal peaks. Ramadan, Saudi National Day and noon's Yellow Friday sale in November bring huge traffic.
Thinking about Amazon too? Our noon vs Amazon comparison shows where each one wins.
What do you need to sell on noon Saudi Arabia?
You need a registered Saudi business with VAT. Noon doesn't accept individuals or freelance documents in Saudi Arabia, but the paperwork itself is short.
Here's the full list for a Saudi-based seller:
- Commercial Registration (CR). This is your Saudi business licence. It must cover trading or e-commerce, and it must be valid for at least 30 more days. Service-only licences are rejected.
- VAT certificate from ZATCA. VAT registration is mandatory for every noon KSA seller.
- ID of the person named on the CR. A Saudi National ID, Iqama or passport. If someone else manages the account, add a Power of Attorney.
- Company bank account. A cancelled cheque, a stamped bank letter or a bank statement. It must be in the company's legal name, because personal accounts are rejected.
- An email and a phone number for the login codes. Any country's number works.
A CR for a sole establishment costs SAR 500 and is issued online almost instantly. Our guide to Saudi business registration covers each option.
Which route fits you?
Not based in Saudi Arabia? You can still sell to Saudi shoppers. Noon has four ways in:
| You are | Route | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| A Saudi company | Local seller | Saudi CR (trading), Saudi VAT, ID, Saudi company bank account |
| A UAE company | Global Store (UAE → KSA) | UAE VAT registration and UAE stock. No Saudi CR or VAT |
| A Chinese company | noon Global Shipping | Chinese business licence only. Noon handles freight, customs and VAT |
| Any other foreign company | International seller | Home-country licence, a Saudi VAT certificate from ZATCA, and Payoneer or LianLian for payouts |
How to register on noon Saudi Arabia, step by step
Registration takes about an hour if your documents are ready, and everything happens in Seller Lab, noon's seller dashboard.
- 1
Create your account
Go to sell.noon.com and choose Register Now. Verify your email and phone with the one-time codes. You'll get an Organization ID that covers all your noon stores.
- 2
Create your Saudi store
Choose Start Selling, pick Saudi Arabia, then your country of registration. Enter your store name in English and Arabic. You can't use a brand name as your store name.
- 3
Add your legal entity
Upload your CR as a PDF; noon pre-fills the details. Add your VAT number and dates, the ID of the person on the CR (plus a Power of Attorney if needed) and your bank details.
- 4
Wait for the eligibility review
Noon aims to review within 24–48 working hours. Sellers often allow about a week. If something is wrong, use Fix Issue in the Setup Guide and resubmit.
- 5
Link the entity to your store
Once approved, connect the legal entity to your Saudi store under Store Management, then Legal & Payment.
- 6
Sign the agreement
The authorised signatory signs noon's terms and conditions digitally.
- 7
List your first products
Add products one by one or in bulk. Each listing passes a quality check before it goes live.
Two rules catch people out. One document set can be used for only one noon account. And your legal name and store currency can't be changed later, so get them right first time.
Most rejections come from a CR whose activities don't include trading, so check yours before you apply. The noon seller registration guide lists every document by seller type.
How to list your products on noon
A listing on noon is a product page. If the product already exists on noon, you simply add your offer to it. If not, you create the page.
Noon checks every new listing for quality. That review takes 2–3 business days, and all mandatory fields must be complete.
Get these basics right:
- Title. Feature, product type, model and colour, in 20–160 characters. Leave the brand out of the title, because it's a separate field.
- Images. At least three JPEGs, 660 px wide or more. The main image needs a pure white background, with the product filling most of the frame.
- Bullets and description. Up to five short bullets, then a description of 250–4,000 characters. No links, prices or emojis.
- Arabic content. English is required, but Arabic is what Saudi shoppers search in. Noon doesn't translate for you, and English-only listings may not show on the Arabic site.
Does your product need certification? Electricals, toys and many other goods need a SABER certificate before they can be sold in Saudi Arabia. It takes a few weeks, so check the SABER rules for your product before you ship stock.
FBN or FBP: how will you fulfil orders?
You have two ways to get orders to customers. With FBN (Fulfilled by noon), noon stores your stock and ships every order. With FBP (Fulfilled by Partner), you keep the stock and noon or you deliver.
| FBN (noon Express) | FBP (DirectShip) | |
|---|---|---|
| Who holds the stock | Noon's fulfilment centre | You |
| Who packs and ships | Noon | You pack; noon collects or you drop off |
| Badge shoppers see | noon Express, delivery as fast as 24 hours | Standard delivery |
| Main fees | Commission + per-order fee + monthly storage | Commission + per-shipment shipping fee |
| Returns | Noon handles them | Noon collects; you inspect |
| Best for | Fast-moving, small or light products | Bulky items, wide catalogues, testing demand |
For most new sellers, FBN is the better start. Noon says FBN listings convert about 60% better thanks to the Express badge, and most big deals also favour FBN stock.
FBP makes sense for bulky goods or if you already run a Saudi warehouse. You'll need to ship on time: cancellations must stay below 2.5% and late shipments below 3%. Pickups close at 10:00, and Friday is a logistics holiday in Saudi Arabia.

You can run both, but keep separate stock for each. Start with FBN on your best sellers and add FBP for bulky items later.
How much does it cost to sell on noon Saudi Arabia?
There's no sign-up fee and no monthly subscription. You pay three main fees, and only when you sell or store stock:
- Commission (referral fee). A percentage of each sale's price. Most categories pay 14–15%, electronics less and fashion more. The minimum is SAR 1 per item.
- FBN fee. A per-order charge for picking, packing and delivery. A standard parcel up to 1 kg costs about SAR 10.
- Storage. A monthly charge of SAR 2.75 per cubic foot. It went up in October. Stock held over a year costs much more, so keep it moving.
A few smaller fees apply in some cases. If a return is your fault, such as an item not as described, noon charges the lesser of SAR 15 or 20% of the commission.
Worked example: a SAR 199 oud perfume on FBN
Let's price a 100 ml oud perfume. It sells for SAR 199 including VAT, weighs 0.4 kg and noon stores and ships it.
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Shelf price (incl. 15% VAT) | SAR 199.00 |
| Commission (fragrance, 15%) | − SAR 29.85 |
| FBN fee (0.25–0.5 kg parcel) | − SAR 9.50 |
| Storage (small box, one month) | − SAR 0.12 |
| Noon fees in total | SAR 39.47 (19.8%) |
| VAT you pass to ZATCA | − SAR 25.96 |
| What you keep before product cost and ads | SAR 133.57 |
So noon keeps about a fifth of the price. Say the perfume costs you SAR 45 landed, and you spend SAR 15 a unit on ads. That still leaves about SAR 73 profit per bottle.
Noon also adds 15% VAT on its fees, but you can reclaim it in your VAT return, so it doesn't change your margin.

How and when does noon pay you?
Noon pays weekly. It creates a statement every Wednesday, covering delivered orders minus returns, and pays it the following Thursday.
The money reaches a Saudi bank in 1–2 business days, while international transfers take 3–5.
Your balance decides when you're paid:
- SAR 1,000 or more: paid every week.
- SAR 50 to 1,000: rolled over and paid once a month.
- SAR 50 or less: held until your balance grows.
Spot a mistake on a statement? Raise it within 15 days, with the order numbers.
How do you get your first sales on noon?
Good listings, FBN stock and a small ads budget are the fastest route. Here's a realistic first month:
- Day 1Register
Create your account, store and legal entity in Seller Lab.
- Days 2–7Get approved
Noon reviews your documents. Use the wait to shoot photos and write Arabic titles.
- Week 2List and pass QC
Upload your first 10–20 products. Quality checks take 2–3 business days.
- Weeks 2–3Send stock to FBN
Book an inbound shipment and send stock to noon's warehouse.
- Week 3Switch on ads
Start sponsored product ads as soon as your stock is live.
- Week 4First payout
Once delivered sales pass SAR 1,000, your first weekly payout lands on a Thursday.
Then focus on four things:
- Run ads from day one. Sellers say new listings rarely take off on organic search alone. Agencies suggest starting at about SAR 50 a day, and new advertisers get 500 ad credits. Sellers typically report about SAR 4 in sales for every SAR 1 of ads.
- Price sharply. Noon shares product pages, so several sellers can offer the same item. A good price plus FBN wins you the Buy Box.
- Plan your peaks. Yellow Friday usually runs from about 20 November to month-end. Deals are booked up to 30 days ahead, so submit yours in October.
- Watch your stock. Check FBN stock reports every week. Inventory mismatches are the most common seller complaint.
Campaign setup, bids and keywords are covered step by step in our noon ads guide.
Notes for UAE-based companies
You don't need a Saudi company to sell on noon Saudi. Global Store lets a UAE seller list into Saudi Arabia from its UAE store.
- Who can join. A UAE VAT-registered company with an active UAE warehouse or FBN stock, and no existing Saudi noon store.
- Fees. You pay the UAE rate card, with no extra cross-border fee.
- Pricing. Noon converts your price automatically, so AED 100 becomes about SAR 112 before duties.
- Paperwork. Each product needs a 12-digit Saudi HS (customs) code and a country of origin.
- Limits. Items over 40 kg, longer than 120 cm, bulky or restricted in Saudi Arabia are excluded.
- Payouts. Paid in USD to your UAE account.
Not on noon UAE yet? Set up that store first with our noon UAE seller guide.
Notes for Chinese sellers
Noon Global Shipping (NGS) is the easiest way in, because you need only a Chinese business licence, with no Gulf company or VAT.
- How it works. You drop orders at noon's Shenzhen hub. Noon handles freight, customs, duties, VAT and delivery across all six GCC countries.
- Pricing. You set a USD transfer price per unit and receive exactly that after delivery. Noon sets the shopper price.
- Payouts. By bank transfer, Payoneer, LianLian, WorldFirst or PingPong.
- Returns. Saleable returns become local FBN stock, with free storage for up to 60 days.
- Room to grow. Chinese sellers are under 10% of sellers on noon.
The seven onboarding steps are in our noon Global Shipping guide.
Notes for other foreign brands
US, European, Indian and other foreign companies can register as international sellers. You'll need your home-country licence and a Saudi VAT certificate from ZATCA.
Non-residents must register for Saudi VAT within 30 days of their first taxable supply, with no minimum threshold. Payouts go through Payoneer or LianLian.
To send stock into FBN, most foreign brands also work with an importer of record (IOR), a local company that clears goods through Saudi customs in its name. See how foreign companies sell on noon for the full setup.
Notes for fashion sellers
Fashion is noon's priciest category in Saudi Arabia. Apparel and footwear pay a 27% commission, against 14% for most other goods.
- Price for it. On a SAR 79 T-shirt, noon's fees come to about 39% of the price.
- Pick your niche. Modest fashion and regional styles suit noon's Arabic-first audience.
- Compare first. Amazon.sa charges 15% on apparel, so run both in the calculator above before you choose.

Frequently asked questions
No. An Iqama works as your ID, but noon KSA also needs a business licence: a Saudi CR that covers trading or e-commerce. Freelance documents are no longer accepted for new sellers. If you don't have a CR, a UAE company (via Global Store) or a Chinese company (via noon Global Shipping) can sell into Saudi Arabia instead.
