How We Choose the Service Providers in Our Directory

Every company in our directory is a real, active business serving Saudi Arabia, the UAE or the wider GCC. We read what each one publishes, pick those with a clear offer and track record, date-stamp the check and remove companies that go quiet. Nobody pays to be listed or ranked.

Key takeaways
  • Listings are real, active companies that serve Saudi Arabia, the UAE or other GCC markets.
  • We review what each company publishes: services, countries, pricing and China capability.
  • Every listing shows the date we last checked it, and inactive companies are removed.
  • No company pays to be listed or to rank higher.
  • A listing is a strong starting point. Still ask for references and a written quote before you sign.

Picking a freight forwarder or 3PL in a new market feels like a leap of faith. Who's actually good? Who's still operating?

Our directory gives you a shortlist to start from. Every company in it is a real business serving Saudi Arabia, the UAE or the wider GCC, and we chose each one for a clear reason.

Here's how we pick them, how we keep listings fresh, and what you should still check yourself.

How do we choose which providers to list?

We start with companies that are active in the Gulf today. Then we look closely at what they publish and keep the ones that give sellers a clear, useful offer.

  1. 1

    Find real, active companies

We look for operating businesses with a live website and current services in Saudi Arabia, the UAE or other GCC countries.

  2. 2

    Read what they publish

We record their services, the countries they cover, any published pricing and whether they can handle shipments or clients from China.

  3. 3

Pick a clear offer and track record

We favour companies that explain what they do, who they serve and how long they've been doing it. Claims come from the company and are attributed to it.

  4. 4

    Date-stamp the check

Each listing carries the date we last reviewed it, so you know how fresh the information is.

  5. 5

    Remove inactive companies

If a company stops operating or its offer goes dark, we take it out of the directory.

The result is 190 listings across 18 categories. Some companies do several jobs, like freight plus customs clearance, so they appear in more than one place. That's 160 unique companies in total.

Every card shows the same core facts, so you can compare like for like: head office, countries served, main services, pricing model, languages and who the company suits best. Highlights such as warehouse counts or delivery speeds are the company's own claims, labelled that way.

What a listing tells you (and what it doesn't)

A listing tells you the company is real, works in the GCC and is clear about its services. It's a solid starting point for your shortlist.

What it doesn't do is replace your own checks. We don't audit operations, visit warehouses or test-ship with every provider. Service quality also depends on your route, product and volume, which only a conversation can settle.

Nobody pays to be listed or ranked

We don't charge companies to appear in the directory, and we don't sell higher positions. Listings stay in because they're useful to sellers.

Some pages may carry a referral link, which helps fund the site. You can read exactly how that works on our how we make money page. It never decides who gets listed. Our wider standards are in the editorial policy.

Before you sign: a 5-point checklist

Even with a great shortlist, a little homework pays off. Run through these before you commit:

Want a head start? Request quotes and we'll connect you with providers that match your needs.

Are you a provider? Keep your listing up to date

If your services, coverage or pricing change, tell us. You can also request a new listing if you serve GCC sellers.

Use the partner with us page to send updates. We review every request and refresh the listing date once it's checked.

Frequently asked questions

No. A listing means the company is real, active in the GCC and clear about what it offers. It isn't a guarantee of service quality, so compare a few options for your own route, volume and budget.
